Balloting will begin on September 18, 2011 for five open positions - President-Elect, Treasurer, Director (1st Year - Bylaws), Director-at-Large, and Nominating Chair. Members as of 9/15/2010 will receive an email on 9/18/2011 with instructions on how to vote on-line. Voting ends October 12, 2011. Members who have not received an email, containing their voting credential by 9/18, should email the MAHQ webmaster for a duplicate email.

The dates for the Lansing MAHQ Annual Education Conference and the CPHQ Review Course which were previously listed as being held October 20 and 21 have been changed to October 18 and 19, respectively.
Over 200 people turned out for a fantastic day with facilitators from The Disney Institute. The program entitled, "Disney's Approach to Quality Service for Healthcare Professionals" was well-received by the attendees.
No "droning-on-speaker-from-the-podium" presentation, the day featured interaction with the presenters, audience input and comment, and small-group exercises, the event lived up to every expectation that one has about the Disney Organization.
