Linda Weirauch, RN, MSN, CPHQ, LSSGB
Linda supports the mission of MAHQ in being a go-to resource in the field of healthcare quality. In addition, she also teaches a 5 star rated CPHQ course, a course other states have taken advantage of as well. For the past three years, her course has led many healthcare quality professionals to pursuing their certification and furthering their own career goals. Linda’s current role is the Director of Quality Management at Select Specialty Hospital in Flint, MI. She proudly serves as the Commissioner for the Awards Team for the National Association for Healthcare Quality. Linda holds a Master of Science in Nursing and is a Certified Professional for Healthcare Quality. She recently obtained her green belt certification in Lean Six Sigma. Linda’s role in the industry and volunteer efforts make her well-positioned to be the MAHQ president. Thank you for your efforts, Linda!
Diane Sypien, RN, MSHA, PMP
MAHQ is proud to have Diane Sypien as the President-Elect overseeing the efforts of all the volunteers of the board. In the past, she has served as the secretary president and had an active role in planning the 2016 conference. Not only is she an RN, she is also a Project Management Professional with a Masters in Health Services Administration. These designations position Diane in understanding healthcare quality from a clinical and business standpoint. Diane is known for her expertise in Medicare Advantage Quality Improvement. Diane’s current role is with Blue Cross Blue Shield as the Manager of Medicare Quality and Compliance. She juggles her work along with organizing board meetings for conference planning and furthering the association’s progress in becoming a Michigan healthcare quality resource. We appreciate all your work volunteering for our field.
Bob proudly serves for MAHQ in his role as Past President. He previously was the President for 3 years and has graciously continued his volunteer efforts to support board activities. He plans the conference and ensures that healthcare quality information makes its way into the hands of our valued MAHQ membership. Bob has a strong hold of the business side of healthcare quality as he holds a Lean Green Belt and Bachelors in Quality management. His current role is with Covenant Healthcare as the Performance Improvement Facilitator. We are grateful for your volunteer efforts to this association as every member benefits from your experience and insight.
Brittany Wilson, CPC
MAHQ is grateful for Brittany’s volunteer efforts as the treasurer of the association. Managing the finances for the association is not an easy job but she has a strong finance and analytical background to rely on. Brittany’s current role is as a Data Analyst for Advanced Analytics & Actuarial at Priority Health. She holds a degree in Investigative Fraud and Accounting for Business. Her financial acumen makes her well-positioned to managing our costs and budget. She also is a valuable contributor to the conference planning team. Thank you for volunteering your time, Brittany!
Michelle Bryant, MBA, BSN, RN, CPHQ
Michelle volunteers her time to support the board of directors with MAHQ in her role as Secretary. Michelle comes to us with a strong background in quality and risk management. MAHQ relies on her industry knowledge not just with conference planning, but with providing resources to our valued membership. Michelle has a clinical background as an RN and CPHQ, and also holds an MBA. Her current role is the Executive Director of Quality and Risk Management for the Behavioral Center of Michigan and Samaritan Behavioral Center. Her valuable experience as a speaker and subject matter expert come in handy as we search for conference speakers. We are fortunate to benefit from your volunteer efforts, Michelle.
Director of Bylaws
MAHQ appreciates Penny in her role as the Director of Bylaws. We are grateful to have her as she was the Director of Membership and decided to continue her support for by shifting her focus to the bylaws. Penny has 18 years of experience as an RN at Munson Medical Center. She plays an active role in maintaining board compliance with guidelines and planning for our conferences. She monitors feedback from members to make sure our conferences are as useful as possible. Thank you Penny for your efforts!
Director-at-Large for Education
Elizabeth Miskotten, MEd, BA, BSN, RN-BC, CPHQ
Elizabeth brings her strong backgrounds in nursing, academics, and informatics as the Director at Large of Education. Her diverse background makes her well-positioned both as a contributor on the board of directors and also as a source of up to date information in the industry. Elizabeth holds Masters degree in Education and has an MSN in progress. She also is a Certified Professional for Healthcare Quality and is a member of various healthcare organizations. MAHQ is grateful for her efforts as a volunteer in bringing the most relevant educational opportunities to the association membership. In addition, she is playing a key role in planning our conference. Her current role is the Manager of Clinic Design and Implementation Application for I.COMM. Thank you Elizabeth!
Director-at-Large for Communication
Rebekah Prisk, MSA, LSSBB, CPHQ
Rebekah volunteers her time to support the board with communication updates to membership. She manages the email inbox, the blog website, and social media accounts. Rebekah is tasked with bringing the industry updates to the front door of our valued members. Currently, Rebekah’s role is as a Provider Performance Specialist for Priority Health. She holds a Masters in Health Services Administration, a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality. She also wrote content for the National Association for Healthcare Quality’s HQ Principles. MAHQ can benefit from her expertise and communication efforts to best help them in their roles.

Kylie Hill, MBA, CPHQ, FAHM
Kylie volunteers her time supporting and representing the membership of the entire association on behalf of the board of directors. Currently, Kylie’s role is the Director of Quality Management at Harbor Health Plan. Her goal is to increase the association membership and further the mission of MAHQ being the go-to resource for industry updates. Kylie’s experience at both large and small organizations in the area of health quality makes her well-positioned to represent our diverse membership. Kylie holds a Master of Business Administration, a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality and a Fellow designation with the Academy for Healthcare Management. The board appreciates Kylie’s efforts in growing the association membership and representing their needs.
